State Representative Brian Hill is currently serving his first term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives after being appointed to serve for the duration of the 129th General Assembly. He represents the 97th House District, which includes Guernsey County and parts of Muskingum County.

Prior to joining the Ohio House, Representative Hill served as a Muskingum County commissioner for more than six years. A two-time graduate of The Ohio State University, he has his associate degree in applied science and his bachelor’s degree in animal science. Representative Hill raises beef cattle and grows crops at the family farm he co-owns and has helped to manage with his father since 1980. He lives with his wife and three children outside of Zanesville.
